1: OpenAI Forms
OpenAI was formed in 2015 as a nonprofit. One of its projects involved developing AI text generators and exploring natural language processing (NLP).
If this is new to you, take a look at a few terms you might hear thrown around when people talk about artificial intelligence. With the help of ChatGPT, I've put together a glossary for you, but there are dozens of other words and phrases. New ones are generated all the time since this is an emerging field.

OpenAI didn't invent artificial intelligence. It's been the domain of science fiction and futurist thinking for decades. OpenAI just made a point to harness AI and experiment with it. They refer to themselves as a lab and a nonprofit (as of early 2023).
